Global Fleet Location
- Displays vessel positions in table view
and on a map background
- Configures alarms to your parameters
which will send an Email or SMS to you when exceeded (e.g. diversion
from track, speed out of limits, approaching port or boundary
alarms)
- Changes vessel position reporting rate
to your requirements
- Provides you with current and historical
vessel data for viewing or downloading.
To use i-pinpoint your vessel must have a compatible Inmarsat
C, Inmarsat D+ or GSM terminal operating on-board. To register
for i-pinpoint web tracking, just request the service application
form using the Contact Us page, then complete and send or fax
the form back to us. We will then provide you with the user name
and password details to access the i-pinpoint web tracking
service and allow you to start monitoring your vessels.
To track your vessels simply start the i-pinpoint program
and enter your name and password. This will connect you to our
tracking server and display your Vessel List showing Position,
Time, Speed and Heading information. The required vessels can
then be selected and displayed on a map with your vessel track
plot. You can zoom and pan, and display the vessel route for the
selected period. Vessel History data is also date range selectable
by vessel, for viewing or downloading to your PC.
A range of System Alarms based on time, speed and distance, relative
to your own defined regions, are easily configured. These Alarms
trigger alerts which are delivered to designated individuals as
email or text messages. The frequency of position reports can
also be modified to suit specific situations or individual requirements.
Additional accounts can be set up for different Vessels or groups
of Vessels and also for other users such as fleet managers or
customers, to provide access to specific vessels or limit system
functionality.
The System utilises Inmarsat-C, Inmarsat D+ and GSM terminals
that can be sourced from us or from distributors of Thrane & Thrane
or Trimble equipment. Other communication methods will be considered
on request.

Instructions for i-pinpoint program download
1. Click on the map opposite
2. Save the i-pinpoint.zip file to a directory
3. Unzip i-pinpoint.zip to a directory
(You will need an unzip program e.g.7-zip-download from www.7-zip.org
4. Open i-pinpoint.exe from the saved directory
5. Enter 'otsdemo' as the Username and Password to Log-in
